The Fairfield County Bank Westport Kiwanis Triathlon is a fun family friendly event open to all ability levels. The swim is point to point at beautiful Compo Beach. The shorter bike and run courses are flat through lovely Compo Beach neighborhood streets. The event is ideal for first time timers, and families wishing to race together.

Awards for age group winners and relays and post race party for everyone will be provided after the race.

The Westport Kiwanis Club has been active donating funds for local charities and scholarships. Click here for additional information regarding the Wesport Kiwanis Club.

PARKING: 60 Compo Beach, Westport, CT

Breakfast will be provided by Pop Up Bagels.

September 9
Optional Packet Pickup
9 am - 12 pm:
Fairfield County Bank, 20 Compo Road South, Westport CT 06880 (back of the building on parking lot) (map it)

September 10 - RACE DAY!
6:00 am: Registration and timing chips pick-up open
7:00 am: Registration and timing chips pick-up close
7:10 am: Race Director talk in front of lifeguard shack
7:20 am: National Anthem
7:30 am: Race starts with the first wave of swimmers
8:30 am: Breakfast on the beach and massages
8:45 am: First results posted
9:15 am: Awards ceremony by the Compo Beach Pavillion


Relays have one timing chip secured with velcro. The exchange between relay members takes place inside the transition area by the bike.

***Wetsuits are optional for the swim. Bike helmets are mandatory (no helmet no race).

There is a no-refund policy for the race.

Weather Policy:
Races are rain or shine unless we determine that race conditions are dangerous. This will be based on a prudent decision made on race weekend. If the race is canceled there will be no refunds. This position is consistent with USAT recommendations and with the protocol of sharing the risks associated with the sport of triathlon. In the event of inclement weather, Acts of God, or unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to alter, cancel or eliminate any/all portions of the race. Each athlete must accept any such risk of their entry fee paid including other amenities paid for such as t-shirts, insurance, and online administrative fees. All fees collected are used to develop and produce the event, including all race supplies.
